Hong Kong

Gateway to the Orient

In the early days of my travels, I would often pass through Hong Kong connecting to all points in Asia.

Usually stopping for a few days to recover and wander the streets of Kowloon and across Victoria Harbour to the growing Hong Kong skyline.

Discovering moments of ancient times deep in the back streets as the modern skyscrapers were crowding in.

Hong Kong was certainly a culture shock back then, along with the modern metropolis full of electrifying energy.
