For my Dear Friends in Myanmar

Part 4 the final part of this series on the People of Myanmar. The crisis continues and the news is only getting much worse.

Myanmar (Burma) is a country that I have grown to love. With 16 trips in the last 15 years, obsession would be an understatement. You may ask, what is the attraction? Like many places in this world, the scenery and landscape are incredibly beautiful.

But for me, it’s the people. It’s such a kind-hearted and peaceful culture, dedicated to family values with deep religious beliefs. I am continuously humbled by their warmth, generosity, and giving nature.

The countries history has been full of terrible hardships for these wonderful people. In the last few years, there was hope and progress towards a better life. But sadly that was short-lived as once again very dark times have fallen on Burma.

I am very concerned for my dear friends in Myanmar. I can only hope they somehow achieve the peace and freedom they so desperately need and deserve.

From my vast archive of Myanmar images, I would like to share some of the people I have discovered along the way.
